Sw just about to cross over 25, the highway that connects all up through
the east slope of the Colorado Rockies. Somewhat overcast, sun streams down between the various cloud cover. The picture above
captures this ceiling and patchwork creating a shafting light show. You can see how quickly the landscape becomes barren and other than nearby populated enclaves there is
virtually no development west. I've flown this area up to
Taos and Monument Valley and west to
Phoenix. The beauty has grown on me from
interesting to
magnificent.
On a recent trip to New Mexico I tried out the panarama feature on the Sony camera . You can press and sweep the horizon. While I don't think I will use this function often, it did capture somewhat better the expansive open country that a simple pic couldn't.
